Savvides Falls to Angelov

Ryan Lashmar
Ryan Lashmar
Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of A♣8♥10♥ and roughly 25,000 in the middle, Alexis Savvides moved all in for 31,000 from early position and was called by Boris Angelov who covered him.

Alexis Savvides: Q♣J♥ All in
Boris Angelov: A♥9♠

Savvides was in rough shape against Angelov's top pair but picked up a couple more outs when he made second pair on the Q♠ turn. The 8♦ river was a brick and Savvides was sent to the rail while Angelov took the pot.
