Farah Snaps Off Lybaert
Level 33
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Elie Farah opened to 650,000 from middle position and Bart Lybaert defended from the big blind.
The flop came A♥9♣3♣. Lybaert checked, Farah bet 550,000, Lybaert check-raised to 1,300,000 and Farah called.
Both players checked the A♠ turn leading to the 2♣ river. Lybaert moved all in, covering Farah who had 3,925,000 behind. Farah nearly beat Lybaert into the pot.
Lybaert could only show J♠3♠. Farah showed down K♦K♠ for a bigger two pair to score a colossal double up.
