Liarte Takes the Lead
Level 28
: Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Julien Liarte raised to 300,000 on the button and Konstantin Voronin defended his big blind.
The dealer fanned out the Q♠5♠A♥ flop, where both players checked through to the J♦ turn. Voronin led out for 300,000 and Liarte made the call.
Voronin checked the 4♠ river, tossing in the call after Liarte bet 800,000. Liarte showed Q♥J♠ for two pair, while Voronin flashed the Q♦ as he mucked. That pot pushed Liarte into the chip lead.
