Zhaparov Makes Ketzer Fold the River

A pot of around 400,000 had brewed between Dauren Zhaparov and Felipe Ketzer on a board of Q8K4Q when Ketzer checked on the river, and Zhaparov bet 225,000.

"Sorry, sorry," said Ketzer to the table as he was taking his time. Eventually, the Brazilian player folded, and Zhaparov was pushed the pot.

"Either you got lucky, or I got lucky. I had a very strong hand on the turn," added Ketzer after the hand.

Safi Haidar opened the button to 45,000 and Nichan Khorchidian three-bet the small blind to 140,000. Haidar then shoved for around 440,000, and Khorchidian had a decision.

Some moments of contemplation went by and Khorchidian elected to fold, showing the A as he did so. Haidar revealed KK as he raked in the pot.

Despite that small setback, Khorchidian still has almost 3,000,000 chips to work with and is certainly still the chip leader with around 60 players remaining.
