Kopyl made it 1,600,000 to go on the button and Atanas Malinov shoved for just under 15,000,000. Kopyl quickly called to give himself a chance at the title.

Kopyl had the best of it and just needed to fade the dreaded ace to get his hands on the trophy. The flop of 10♥10♦4♥ put him a huge step closer to victory, but he had to fade some more cards as the 8♥ on the turn meant Malinov picked up four extra outs as any eight would counterfeit Kopyl's pair.

Instead, the 10♠ on the river gave Kopyl a full house, earning him the title and leaving Malinov out in second.

Disaster for Rui Querido Martins as a mistake has cost him his tournament life.

Atanas Malinov min-raised to 600,000 from under the gun and when the action got to Martins in the small blind, he shoved for a little over 2,000,000. The big blind folded and Martins went to return his cards to the dealer thinking he had won the pot, but soon clawed them back after Malinov asked for a count.

After around fifteen seconds of thinking, Malinov reluctantly tossed in the call.

"F*******K!" said Martins when he realized his mistake.

Martins still had an overcard and picked up an extra out when the flop came down 3♠3♣3♥ as any three would give him quads with a higher kicker. However, the 7♦ turn removed three of his outs as Malinov improved to a bigger full house, leaving Martins with just one chance to find the case three.

Instead, the J♦ dropped on the river, and Martins made his way to the exit, visibly frustrated.
