Sharky's Set Makes Trabulsi the First Day 1c Elimination
Sharky opened from under the gun to 1,300 before George Trabulsi three-bet to 4,500 from the cutoff. When it got back to Sharky, he made the call.
Sharky checked the 8♠3♣2♥ flop, prompting Trabulsi to bet 2,500. Sharky check-raised to 8,000, only for Trabulsi to three-bet to 26,500. Sharky pondered for a few moments before making the call.
With over 55,000 in the middle, the two players saw the 10♠ roll off on the turn. Sharky led out for 15,000, and Trabulsi went into the tank. After some thinking, Trabulsi jammed for roughly 75,000. Sharky snap-called and the holdings were revealed.
George Trabulsi: A♦A♣
Sharky: 3♠3♦
Trabulsi's pocket aces were behind to the flopped set of Sharky. Only a two-outer ace on the river could save Trabulsi. It wasn't meant to be as the 7♠ fell on the river, and Trabulsi was the first elimination of Day 1c.
