Yankov Gets Lin to Six-Bet Jam Drawing Thin
It had been around one hour since Ren Lin doubled up with pocket aces against the pocket kings of Krasimir Yankov.
Lin started this hand with a raise under the gun before Yankov three-bet to 180,000 from the hijack. When it got back to Lin he four-bet to 280,000. Yankov took a while before he clicked it back to 380,000. Lin thought briefly, then six-bet all in for around 1,000,000. Yankov called and asked Lin, "Same again?"
Ren Lin: A♦Q♠
Krasimir Yankov: K♥K♣
Lin was making a move, and this time it was Yankov who had the best hand. However, Lin just had to hit an ace to double up, and leave Yankov with just over ten big blinds.
The 5♦Q♣J♥ flop gave Lin a few more outs to stay alive. The 4♦ turn meant Lin was one card away from elimination. A 2♦ appeared on the river, and Lin wished Yankov and the other players good luck as he headed to the cashier's desk.
