Broda Takes the Chip Lead
Level 38
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Richard Broda opened to 1,600,000 from under the gun and Nicolas Chouity called on the button.
The flop came 7♣9♠K♠ and both players knuckled the table to see the 5♠ hit the turn. Broda checked, Chouity bet 1,900,000, and Broda called.
A Q♣ on the river was checked through, and Broda tabled K♥8♥ for a pair of kings to scoop the pot, and take the chip lead!
