Sabau Leads Into Skarparis

Georgios Skarparis opened the action with a raise to 3,500 from under-the-gun. A player in the hijack called and Razvan Sabau defended out of the big blind.

After Sabau checked the Q♦9♣A♣ flop, Skarparis put out a continuation-bet of 7,000. The hijack player folded, but Sabau put in the call.

When the flush-completing J♣ landed on the turn, Sabau led out for 18,000. Skarparis thought it over for a few moments before folding his cards, and the pot was pushed to Sabau

Zavoloka Wins a Small Multi-Way Pot

Mikhail Zavoloka raised to 3,000 from the hijack with Aleksandr Chernikov calling from the cutoff, and Danut Chisu defending out of the big blind.

After Chisu checked the K♥A♥Q♣ flop, Zavoloka bet 4,000, which was called by Chernikov, but folded by Chisu.

The 5♠ turn checked through for the 5♦ to fall on the river. Zavoloka bet 10,000 and Chernikov released his hand.

With roughly 30,000 in the middle on a board of 5♣J♦6♠K♠, Mihai Niste checked from the big blind and Kianoosh Matin checked behind from middle position.

The 7♠ landed on the river and Niste led out for an overbet of 50,000. Matin quickly called, and then promptly mucked after Nitse turned over a rivered flush with 10♠8♠.

Azamat Tulepbergenov raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and Jianfeng Sun three-bet to 12,000 out of the small blind. Tulepbergenov called to see a flop.

Sun continued with a bet of 14,000 on the 3♠Q♣J♦ flop and Tulepbergenov quickly called.

The 3♥ turn checked through for the 7♠ to land on the river. Sun checked, and Tulepbergenov was happy to check behind.

Sun showed a pair of tens with 10♠10♣, and lost to the flopped top two pair of Tulepbergenov with Q♠J♠.

The action was picked up with the board already completed and showing 6♦Q♣7♣2♥J♥. Simeon Spasov was first to act and fired out a bet of 15,500 from under-the-gun. Joseph Sabe was visibly distressed by the spot he was in, but after thinking it over, he put in the call.

Spasov confidently turned over A♥Q♠ for a flopped pair of queens with an ace kicker. Sabe mucked and the pot was sent to Spasov.

Alexandru Cinca raised to 4,000 from middle position and Mihai Nitse three-bet to 11,000 from the cutoff. After the rest of the table folded, Cinca put in the call.

The flop came down 2♥2♠6♠ and Cinca checked over to Nitse. Nitse fired out 5,500 and Cinca made the call.

The 3♥ on the turn went check-check, as did the 7♥ river Cinca showed K♣J♠ for just king-high, and to his surprise it was good as Nitse mucked while showing just the K♦.

The flop came down A♣2♠3♦, which saw a check from Kowal. Verbruggen fired a continuation-bet of 6,000 and only Kowal called.

The K♣ turn checked through for the A♥ to land on the river. Kowal now took the betting lead and put out a bet of 8,000. Verbruggen raised to 20,000 and Kowal snap-folded his cards.
