With around 400,000 in the middle on a board of 10♣6♥9♣9♦2♣, Ozgur Arda bet 370,000 out of the big blind with just 30,000 behind. Maher Achour went deep into the tank, thinking for a few minutes before he eventually carved out the call.

Arda turned over J♥7♦ for just jack-high. Achour flipped over ace-high with A♠4♠ to take down the pot.

Hala Karam raised to 80,000 from early position and Sergei Varnaev three-bet to 225,000 from late position. Gaspare Sposato four-bet out of the blinds to 865,000. Karam folded, but Varnaev shoved to put Sposato all in. Sposato called for his remaining 250,000.

Varnaev was on the right end of a cooler and looked likely to eliminate Sposato. The runout of Q♣7♥9♣10♣10♠ kept Varnaev ahead the entire with pocket aces and Sposato was out in fourteenth.

Runcan had Varnaev dominated and looked likely to double-up. The flop of A♣K♣6♠ put Runcan in the lead with a pair of kings but did give Varnaev a flush draw. The 9♣ turn gave Varnaev the flush and left Runcan drawing dead as the 4♦ came on the river and Runcan was out.

Sachin Joshi made it 330,000 and left himself just 5,000 behind. The action folded to Aliaksandr Hirs in the big blind, who called and almost turned his cards over thinking Joshi was all-in. However, the dealer pointed out that Joshi still had chips behind.

On the 6♦2♣Q♠ flop, Hirs bet 5,000, and Joshi called.
