Hammi Makes the Right Call Against Kyte
Level 26
: Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Mohamed Ameur Hammi just made a huge call to double up through Jon Kyte.
The action was picked up on the turn with the board reading 10♠9♣8♣3♦, where Kyte had checked the small blind. Hammi fired 175,000 from under the gun, which Kyte called.
A 9♥ on the river saw Kyte check it over, then Hammi bet 400,000. Not much time after, Kyte slid out a stack of 2,000,000, which put Hammi to the test for his remaining 1,035,000.
It took close to three minutes for Hammi to make a decision, and he finally flicked in a chip and rolled over A♦A♣. That was good for the pot as Kyte mucked.
