Seref Anar Eliminated in 3rd Place (€37,000)
Andrey Golubev raised to 200,000 on the button and Seref Anar called from the small blind. Nazar Buhaiov squeezed to 900,000 out of the big blind, which only Anar called.
As soon as Anar saw the K♣A♥2♦ flop, he overbet jammed for 3,485,000. Buhaiov, who had just a few big blinds more to start the hand, leaned back in his chair and went deep into the tank.
After close to two minutes of tanking, he flicked a chip to indicate a call, making it the biggest pot of the tournament so far.
Seref Anar: K♠10♣
Nazar Buhaiov: A♠J♦
Buhaiov made the correct decision with top pair as Anar held second pair. Buhaiov needed to dodge a king or ten on the rest of the runout to go into heads-up play with a commanding chip lead.
The 5♣ on the turn didn't help Anar and neither did the 4♦ river. Anar was out in third place, and the High Roller was heads-up.
