Paul Grummitt and Batraz Tigiev have clashed multiple times so far on Day 1a. The latest encounter saw Grummitt rake in a small pot.
Tigiev opened to 1,400 from under the gun and Grummitt called from the next seat. The big blind also came along and when the flop came 4♠J♥Q♣, Tigiev bet 2,100. Grummitt called and the big blind folded.
A 6♣ hit the turn and Tigiev slowed down with a check, only for Grummitt to fire 2,100. That was enough to win the pot as Tigiev let it go. Despite that setback, Tigiev is up to around 80,000.
