Moein Benefits From Velvelt's Bluff
Ali Moein just launched himself toward the top of the chip counts after an ill-timed bluff from Urmo Velvelt.
Moein raised to 800 from the hijack and Lennart Beumelburg called on the button. Velvelt was in the big blind and also called.
The flop came 4♣4♥3♣ and when it checked to Moein, he bet 800. Beumelburg got out of the way, but Velvelt stuck around.
A 5♦ turn saw Velvelt check it over again before Moein put out a bet of 2,800. After considering his options. Velvelt decided to shove his stack of around 35,000, which was snap-called by Moein.
Urmo Velvelt: K♥J♦
Ali Moein: A♣2♣
Velvelt was drawing dead to the wheel of Moein, and his stack was also covered. A meaningless Q♠ fell on the river, and Velvelt made his way to the exit as Moein raked in a huge pot.
