Spasov continued for 250,000 on the flop and Yaghmai called to see the on the turn. Spasov slowed down and checked this time, and Yaghmai checked behind.

The river came the and Spasov fired out another 775,000. Yaghmai went into his time banks before he flicked in a chip to signify a call. Spasov showed for a rivered pair of kings and Yaghmai held onto his hand starring at the board in silence before finally mucking.

Maxime Chilaud opened to 300,000 from middle position and Boris Smuskevicius called in the cutoff. The remaining players got out of the way to send the action heads-up to the flop.

The flop came and both players checked through to the turn. At that point Chilaud fired a delayed continuation of 650,000 which Smuskevicius called.

The river completed the board, promoting Chilaud to move all in. Smuskevicius snapped it off but threw his onto the table in frustration as Chilaud turned over for the rivered straight to send Smuskevicius out in brutal fashion in 16th place.

Spasov Shows Down Queens in Massive Pot

Maxime Chilaud raised to 300,000 from under the gun as action folded around to big blind Simeon Spasov, who called to see the flop.

Spasov checked over to Chilaud who continued for 300,000. Spasov again called as the fell on the turn.

Chilaud bet another 1,500,000 and Spasov used two time bank cards before announcing a raise to 3,400,000. Chilaud quickly called to create a 9,000,000-chip pot.

The river came the and Spasov checked this time. Chilaud checked back and Spasov opened up for top set to take the massive pot and the chip lead.
