Boris Smuskevicius
Boris Smuskevicius

Maxime Chilaud opened to 300,000 from middle position and Boris Smuskevicius called in the cutoff. The remaining players got out of the way to send the action heads-up to the flop.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and both players checked through to the {10-Clubs} turn. At that point Chilaud fired a delayed continuation of 650,000 which Smuskevicius called.

The {8-Spades} river completed the board, promoting Chilaud to move all in. Smuskevicius snapped it off but threw his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} onto the table in frustration as Chilaud turned over {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for the rivered straight to send Smuskevicius out in brutal fashion in 16th place.
