Whicher Doubles

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

The flop was out and it read {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} and two players were still in contention. After some betting and re-raising, the chips were committed and it was top pair for William Whicher, whose tournament life was on the line with {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, against his opponent's {k-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush draw and an over.

Whicher managed to fade the {q-Clubs} turn and {2-Clubs} river and scooped the chips.

Jivoin Busts to Shytani who Extends his Lead

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Kastriot Shytani limped under the gun and Stefan-Fabian Jivoin called in early position too. Dillan Patel raised to 3,000 and was called by both players.

The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and after a check from Shytani, Jivoin led for 2,500, which Patel and Shytani both called. The turn was a {6-Diamonds} and Shytani took the betting lead, making it 15,000. Jivoin went into the tank and used a time-bank card before going all in for 20,000 total. Patel moved aside and the duo turned over their cards.

Kastriot Shytani: {5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Stefan-Fabian Jivoin: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Jivoin was drawing dead to Shytani's straight and was already out of his seat by the time the dealer put the {10-Clubs} out on the river. Shytani's run continues and he is storming away with the chip lead now.

Moneymaker Building

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The last time PokerNews walked past Chris Moneymaker's table, he was nursing a stack a little under the starting stack. In less than a level though, he has been busy chipping away and is now over 100,000, as players enter the last level before the next 15-minute break.

William Whicher Busts

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

William Whicher was recently seen heading out of the tournament area. A regular of the Moneymaker's Road to the PSPC Tour series, time will tell whether Whicher decides to get back in the mix or not.

Moneymaker Barrels

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With a stack to play with now, Chris Moneymaker certainly seems to be utilising his chips and has just taken another pot after barreling into Victor Nitel.

The turn was out on the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board and Nitel check-called a 6,500 bet, taking them to the {4-Spades} river. Nitel took his time before checking and Moneymaker set 17,000 over the line. Nitel didn't like it and passed, asking Moneymaker if he bluffed him, to which he got the reply "I have been known to do that before, but also to have hand...it's 50/50."

Incredible Runout in Patel vs Winstone Clash

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, four players were in and it checked to Kastriot Shytani, who bet 3,000. Thomas Winstone moved all in for 23,000 and Dillan Patel re-shipped for 94,400. It was enough to convince the other two players to lay it down and they flipped their cards on their backs.

Dillan Patel: {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Thomas Winstone: {q-Spades}{6-Spades}

Winstone called for a four and the poker God's obliged with the {4-Diamonds}, putting him into the lead with a better two-pair. The reprieve was short-lived, however, as the river came the {2-Hearts}, giving Patel a full house and Winstone hits the rail once more.

Juc Raises it Up

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Bogdan Juc has been building quite the stack. He has just been involved in a pot after defending his big blind to a 4,000 raise from Daniel Silverman that was also flat called by Jiten Chauhan.

On the {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, Juc checks to Silverman who continues for 6,000. After Chauhan calls, Juc raises it up to 28,000. Both of his opponents fold and Juc adds another chunk to his stack.
