Pair of Nines Good for Gluzov

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After re-entering, Kamen Gluzov's second bullet is faring better than the first. Just now he three-bet to 3,600 on the cutoff over a 1,200 early position open.

Heads up on the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} board, Gluzov and his opponent checked through to the {5-Clubs} turn. Once again, there was no betting and the dealer placed a {3-Hearts} on the river.

The player in early position led for 3,300 and it was a quick call from Gluzov, who turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and it was enough to beat his opponent's {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Deljarry Eliminates One

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was an all in for 4,600 in middle position and a hijack flat, before Kevin Deljarry moved all in over the top in the big blind. With almost starting stack in play, Deljarry had enough to convince the hijack player to fold and he and his opponent were heads up with around 5,000 dead money in the middle.

Kevin Deljarry: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Deljarry was in front and stayed that way all the way through to the river, with the completed board reading {7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The pot gives the Frenchman's stack a decent boost.

Fortune Favors the Brave

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Sami Malik has been moved to a new table and has just been involved in some interesting preflop action. There was an under-the-gun open to 1,400 and a hijack three-bet to 4,300, before Malik declared his all in from the button, for a total of 44,000. The first player folded quickly but the second needed some time to think and used a time bank card before calling his remaining 31,000.

Sami Malik: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Malik was looking for three outs and he found one of them on the {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop. The {8-Diamonds} turn and {8-Spades} river bricked for his opponent, who was sent to the rail.

Mason Leading After Huge Clash with Sciesel

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Jen Mason is top of the counts after a huge clash with Katarzyna Scisel. Thanks to Mason for relaying the details of the hand.

It began with three limps in front and Scisel made up the difference from the small blind before Mason checked her option in the big.

The flop fell {7-}{8-}{10-} and Scisel led for 4,500. Mason upped it to 14,000 and everyone else got out of the way before Scisel raised all in for 55,000. It was a snap-call from Mason and and she turned over {9-}{6-} for the straight and was in very good shape against Scisel's two pair with {10-}{7-}. There was no ten or seven on the last two streets and Mason is the first player to reach a six-figure stack.

Bester has the Best of it

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

"It was a good time to find jacks" said Graeme Bester as he collected the chips he'd won in a three-way all in. "Good time to squeeze," added a fellow player at his table.

It certainly worked out well for Bester who had three-bet all in for 23,000 over an open and two flat calls. The initial raiser folded but the cutoff player called for 11,000 and Justin Bateson decided he wanted to play too, calling from the button.

Graeme Bester: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Justin Bateson: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

It was a low {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board, in the end, which secured Bester an (almost) triple up.

Kassa Flips

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Getnet Kassa opened the action to 2,000 in middle position and got two calls from late position before the player in the small blind raised to 8,000 in the small blind. Kassa announced his all in and the two callers passed, before the three-better called the rest.

They were off to the races, with Kassa holding a pair of {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} against his opponent's {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. The {7-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} runout favored the pair and Kassa doubled.
