Mark Robinson moved all in from the big blind for 50,000 after an under the gun open (to 4,500) from Jonny Bowers and call in early position from Stephen Faetz. Bowers thought about it for a while (his stack almost exactly the same as Robinson's) but let his hand go, as did Faetz.

Dodson Wins Race vs. Griggs

Andrew Dodson moved all in preflop in an early position open spot for 22,000. James Griggs, in the hijack, counted out the call (he would be left with 42,000 if he lost) and put the chips in, finding himself flipping with vs. Dodson's . The board ran out keeping the pocket pair in front and evening out the two players' stacks.

Faetz Paid "Strange Amount" on the River

Stephen Faetz has flown under the radar somewhat today, but now has a stack of what can only be described as a healthy 160,000. His latest pot, caught from the turn on a board, saw him leading out from the small blind into two players (big blind Martin Foord and cutoff Brett Angell) for 5,500. Both of his opponents made the call, seeing the river. Faetz led out again, this time for 7,000. Foord folded quickly, but Angell thought out loud: "Strange amount...Neither a bet or a bluff? Blocker bet?"

Angell made the call in the end, but mucked on seeing Faetz's for flopped trips.

Big Stacks Collide; Seppanen Does Well Out of Collision

A big pot just now dented the stack of Konstantinos Patsourakis while boosting Ari Seppanen's to still more stratospheric heights. On a heads up flop of , big blind defender Patsourakis checked to Seppanen, who fired 10,000. Back to Patsourakis, who check-raised to 28,000. Seppanen made the call.

Both players checked the turn, but the river saw Patsourakis lead out for 25,000 (now handily encapsulated in a single white chip, introduced during the last break). Seppaned called quickly and Patsourakis showed down for a rivered three of a kind. Seppanen waited a heartbeat, then showed down for an even better rivered hand - the heart flush.
