Who Will Walk Away with the $32,720 + Platinum Pass Top Prize?

PSPC Platinum Pass 2020
PSPC Platinum Pass 2020

The Moneymaker's Road to PSPC 2020 - Seminole Hard Rock $360 Main Event attracted a total of 464 entries, and today the final 48 players, who are all in the money, return to action to compete for their share of a $139,200 prize pool. Awaiting the winner is a $32,720 top prize plus the coveted Platinum Pass.

Starting the day with the chip lead is Day 1b leader Zoltan Czinkota with 492,500 followed by Scott Baumstein (470,000), who was the Day 1a chip leader.

Others returning for Day 2 are Daniel Scorro (362,500), Devond Marshall (285,500), Matt Suarez (215,000), Willie Wiggins (114,500), and Sherif Elmessiri (48,500). Likewise, the man himself, Chris Moneymaker, returns with 284,000 and is looking to go one spot further than he did last year when he finished second in this very event (which at the time was the $86 buy-in Moneymaker Tour).

Action will resume shortly with 15:15 remaining in Level 14 (1,500/3,000/3,000). PokerNews will be on-site to capture all the action, so stay tuned!

Endara the First to Fall

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mark Nahama raised to 7,000 and Michael Weinberg called from the cutoff. Juan Endara then three-bet all in for 36,500 from the button, Nahama called, and Weinberg got out of the way.

Mark Nahama: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Juan Endara: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

It was a flip and Endara was looking to hold to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, that proved easier said than done as the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop paired Nahama.

Neither the {7-Spades} turn nor {3-Hearts} river helped Endara and he was the first to fall on Day 2. He earned $625 for his 48th-place finish.

Dan Wayson
Dan Wayson

Dan Wayson, who began the day with just 24,000, moved his last 19,000 all in under the gun and Mark Nahama called next to act. The rest of the players folded and it was off to races.

Dan Wayson: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Mark Nahama: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Wayson took the lead on the {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop but it was shortlived as the {q-Hearts} spiked on the turn to give Nahama a set. The {5-Clubs} river was no help to Wayson and he was sent to the rail early for $625.
