Seiver Moves Further Ahead in the Bounty Race

Scott Seiver picked up his seventh bounty with his elimination of Peter Eastgate, extending his lead in the race for the $100,000 prize awarded to the player who takes out the most opponents. Joe Cassidy, Faraz Jaka, and Hoyt Corkins all have four. Since the winner of the final table earns their own $5,000 bounty but not an elimination to count toward the bounty race, there are only five bounties remaining.

Either Cassidy, Jaka, or Corkins will have to earn four of the five to overtake Scott or three to tie with him and chop the $100,000. Brett Richey has three and can overtake Seiver only if he eliminates everyone else at the table. If Ashton Griffin picks up all of the remaining bounties, he can only tie Seiver.
