Jaka's Chips Jacked

After Ashton Griffin raised preflop, Faraz Jaka made the call from the big blind and the two players were off to a flop.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Jaka checked. Griffin fired 12,200 and Jaka made the call. The turn added the {3-Diamonds} to the board and Jaka checked again. Griffin kept firing away, making a bet of 29,000. Jaka called again and the two chip leaders went to a river with the pot swelling.

The final card on the board was the {6-Diamonds} and Jaka went into the tank. After a minute or so, he put out a bet of 80,000. A short moment went by before Griffin announced that he was all in. Jaka went into the tank, knowing he'd be the player at risk if he made the call and could be eliminated because Griffin had more chips. Eventually, Jaka mucked his hand and sent the chips to Griffin. He's now one of the shortest stacks at the table while Griffin has widened his lead even more.
