Kevin "BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul called his shot last night at the PokerStars party. Although he wouldn't guarantee a win, he was pretty confident about making the final table. It was not to be, however. Neither was making the fourth level.

Saul fell to 17,000 early but built back to starting stack in typical hyper-aggressive fashion. No one blinked when he made a standard raise to 600, and the button repopped to 4,000. But this time, Saul had a hand - pocket kings.

He thought he was angle-shooting for value when he raised to 8,000 and then pretended he was just confused about the chip colors. Not so, as the button shoved. Saul snap called to discover that he'd run his cowboys squarely into aces. No help from the board, and that's Saul she wrote.
