Jon Turner has had a very up-and-down tournament. As we approach the bubble, he's fighting to stay alive in the tournament. Sitting in the big blind, Turner called a raise to 10,500 from button player William Van Ormer. Both players started the hand with roughly 140,000 chips.

Turner checked an {8-Clubs} {6-Spades} {6-Hearts} flop to Van Ormer, who quickly bet 15,000. Turner called, and then was much, much slower to check-call another 30,000 after the {5-Diamonds} turn.

At the {10-Diamonds} river, each player had roughly 85,000 chips left. Turner had to act first. He checked. Van Ormer thought things over and then put his last 85,000 in the middle. Turner just flipped his cards into the muck.
