Repole Gets Aces to Double Up
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Action was picked up on the flop with 6,800 in the pot, and the board showing 7♦J♣4♣.
Dominic Lake checked to Ravi Repole, who went all in for 12,500, and Lake made the call to put him at risk.
Ravi Repole: A♠A♣
Dominic Lake: 9♠7♣
Repole was in great shape for a double against the pair of sevens of Lake. After the board ran out Q♦ on the turn and J♥ on the river, the aces of Repole were still best, to give him a double up.
