It was a flip for Hatmaker's tournament life, and after the board ran out K♥8♦2x9♦5♠ Hatmaker's pocket sevens were still best, and he secured the double up.
Action picked up on the river in a hand between Rudolf George in the big blind and Zachariah Kates in middle position.
With about 40,000 in the middle and the board reading J♥4♥8♥3♦K♣, George bet 14,000, which was enough to put Kates all in, who had 12,700 behind.
After some thought, Kates made the call and tabled K♥K♦ for three of a kind, kings, besting the A♥2♠ of George, who had a busted flush draw.
Rudolf George limped in from early position, and when it folded to Zachariah Kates in the cutoff, he raised to 6,200. Once it folded to the big blind Dale Capuano, he three-bet to 18,000. George folded, and Kates made the call.
The flop came J♠3♠10♠ and Capuano fired out 25,000. After thinking over his decision, Kates tossed his cards in the muck and gave Capuano the pot.
Richard Kaplan raised on the button to 3,000, Dennis McGlynn called in the small blind, and Braden Kulley three-bet shoved all in from the big blind for 27,000, putting himself at risk.
Kaplan quickly folded and McGlynn folded as well, showing pocket sixes.
"Good fold," said Kulley, as he flashed pocket queens before stacking his chips.

Brett Hadlock bet out 10,000, and Matthew Riebel raised to 32,000. After thinking over his decision, Hadlock made the call.
Riebel tabled 10♦8♦ for a rivered flush to take the sizable pot.
Action picked up on the river in a hand between Etniel Sanabria in the big blind and Christopher McCoy who was under the gun.
With 25,000 in the middle and the board reading J♥Q♣K♣J♠9♣, Sanabria led out for 10,000 and McCoy moved all in for 37,500 total, putting himself at risk.
Sanabria went into the tank before eventually giving up his hand. McCoy showed J♣10♣ for a straight flush, and Sanabria revealed that he had folded A♦10♥.
Kevin Solomon limped in under the gun, and when it folded to Sharman Olshan on the button, she raised to 2,500. The blinds folded, and Solomon made the call.
The flop came J♥5♣A♠ and Solomon check-called a bet of 2,200 from Olshan.
Both players checked after the 6♦ on the turn.
The river was the 4♣ and Solomon bet out 2,200, which got a quick fold from Olshan, to give Solomon the pot.
