Lavin Calls River Bet with Ace High
Level 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Action folded to Michael Lavin in the cutoff who raised to 10,000. He was called by Brett Conlon on the button, and both the blinds folded.
The flop came J♠6♦4♠ and both players checked to the turn.
After the 5♦ Lavin check-called a bet of 12,000 Conlon.
The river was the 4♦ and Lavin checked to Conlon who bet 27,000. Lavin wasted no time and made the call. Conlon tabled 10♥9♥ for just ten high, and Lavin showed A♠K♥ for ace high, which was good enough to take the pot.
