Chernigoff Chipping Up
Level 2
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Alexis Owings raised to 400 in middle position, Glenn Chernigoff flatted in the cutoff, and William Zgorski three-bet to 1,600 on the button. Owings and Chernigoff both called.
The flop of 2♦J♦6♥ checked through to the 10♣ turn. Owings checked, Chernigoff bet 2,200, Zgorski called, and Owings got out of the way.
The river landed the 2♣ and Chernigoff bet 3,500. Zgorski thought for a moment before putting in a single chip, signifying a call.
Chernigoff tabled J♠9♠ for two pair, jacks and deuces to scoop the pot.
