Frutchey Cracks Jacks
Level 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
The player in early position limped, John MacDonell raised to 1,600 in the hijack, and David Frutchey flatted on the button. Early position got out of the way.
The flop of 2♣Q♣3♦ went check-check, bringing the A♣ turn. MacDonell check-called a bet of 2,000 from Frutchey.
The river brought the K♥ and both players checked. Frutchey tabled A♦10♥ for a pair of aces, besting the pocket jacks of MacDonell.
