The flop came 10♦J♠2♣ and Gutierrez checked to Shabelnyk who bet out 5,000. Gutierrez then raised to 15,000. After using a time bank, Shabelnyk made the call.
The turn brought the 3♠ and Gutierrez bet to put Shabelnyk all in for his stack of 56,500, which Shabelnyk snap called.
Valentyn Shabelnyk: A♦A♣
Elias Gutierrez: K♠Q♠
Shabelnyk was ahead with his pocket aces, but would need to fade the open-ended straight draw of Gutierrez. The 3♥ on the river was a clean one for Shabelnyk, who secured the double up with his two pair, aces and threes.
