After the successful 2023 return of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) in Las Vegas, PokerStars announced that the NAPT will be back at Resorts World Las Vegas this year for ten days of tournament poker action.
The 2024 NAPT Las Vegas festival will take place Nov. 1-10, culminating with a $5,300 buy-in NAPT Main Event — an increase from last year's $1,650 price tag — after a successful event with a strong turnout in 2023.
“Last year, the NAPT smashed all expectations, so this year, we’re going even bigger," PokerStars North America Vice President Steve Preiss said in a press release. "With a premier partner like Resorts World Las Vegas, we’re stepping up our game: bigger tournaments, buy-ins, and player-focused events.”
Action folded to the blinds, Chun Ping Lo in the small blind, and Scott Weinstein in the big blind, who both checked their option.
Weinstein called a bet of 200 after the 6♣J♣J♠ flop, and a bet of 500 after the 4♣ turn.
The river was the 7♣ and Lo bet out 1,000, which got a fold from Weinstein to give the pot to Lo.

Action folded to David Urban on the button, and he raised to 300. The small blind Istvan Szabo made the call, and once the big blind folded, the two players were heads up.
The flop came 9♥7♦Q♠ and Szabo checked to Urban who bet out 200, before being raised to 600 by Szabo. Urban quickly called to see the turn.
Both players checked the 8♣ on the turn.
The river was the 8♠ and Szabo bet out 1,100, which was quickly called by Urban. Szabo tabled A♠Q♦ for two pair queens and eights, which was good to take the pot, as Urban tossed his cards in the muck.
