Action was picked up with Arshdeep Virk all in for 14,500, and Michael Ryan putting him at risk on a board showing 8♣4♠Q♦.
Arshdeep Virk: K♠Q♥
Michael Ryan: A♦Q♣
Virk was dominated by the bigger kicker of Ryan, and after the 9♣ on the turn, and Q♣ on the river, both players had trip queens, but it was Ryan with the ace kicker to take the pot, and eliminate Virk.
Action was picked up with Karneet Arora all in and at risk from early position for his last 49,400 chips. In Sun Geoum was sitting in the cutoff holding the goods, hoping to score a knockout.
Karneet Arora: J♣J♠
In Sun Geoum: K♥K♦
The flop came down J♥5♠10♠ and Arora jumped into the lead. The turn 6♠ peeled off and river 6♥ hit the felt, securing the double up for Arora.
Kevin Wright opened the action with a raise all in for 3,000. It folded to the small blind In Sun Geoum, who made the call to put Wright at risk. The big blind folded, and it was the two players heads up.
Kevin Wright: K♠7♣
In Sun Geoum: A♦6♦
Wright would need to improve against the ace high of Geoum, but once the board ran out Q♦2♦7♦6♣8♠ Geoum flopped the nuts, and Wright was not able to improve and Wright was eliminated.
Thomas Romeo opened to 1,500 from early position before middle position three-bet to 5,200. Ronnie Dowdy four-bet to 15,600 from the big blind and went with his hand moving all in for 23,000. Dowdy called.
Thomas Romeo: 7♠7♥
Ronnie Dowdy: K♠K♥
The board ran out 2♥4♦9♠K♣4♦ and the king on the turn wrapped things up, awarding to pot to Dowdy.
