Svensen Spikes an Ace
Level 3
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Alex Su opened the action with a raise to 600 from the cutoff. Thomas Svensen three-bet to 2,100 from the small blind before Su moved all in for 9,400. Svensen made the call.
Alex Su: J♥J♦
Thomas Svensen: A♠J♣
Su, who won his seat via a satellite, got his money in great and needed to fade an Ace to extend his tournament life. The dealer did not oblige after the board ran out 8♠9♣A♣8♥7♦ and he was eliminated.
