Chrin Turns a Set
Level 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Action was picked up on the turn with roughly 23,000 in the pot, and the board showing 3♦7♣8♣9♦.
Norman Rogers bet out 15,000, when Jeffrey Chrin raised all in for Rogers's stack of 48,400. Rogers did make the call to put himself at risk.
Norman Rogers: 10♥10♦
Jeffrey Chrin: 9♠9♥
Chrin turned a set of nines, but Rogers was still alive as he could hit a ten to make a bigger set, or a jack or six to make a straight. But after the river was the 4♣ the set of nine for Chrin were still best, and Rogers was eliminated.
