Yifrach Goes Runner-Runner to Take the Lead
Level 32
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Gal Yifrach raised to 500,000 on the button with 7♦5♠ and Thomas Boivin called in the big blind with Q♣9♦. The flop came A♦Q♥8♥ and both players checked to the 7♠ on the turn.
Boivin checked again and Yifrach threw in a bet of 600,000 with just bottom pair. Boivin called and the 5♣ peeled off on the river. Boivin checked one more time and Yifrach slid out a bet of 2,000,000. Boivin made the call and Yifrach showed him the two pair to take over the lead.
