Gal Yifrach Wins 2025 PokerStars NAPT Main Event for $543,025
The 2025 PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas has wrapped up and Gal Yifrach has topped a field of 738 entries to take home the top prize of $543,025. It marks the largest career tournament victory for the Los Angeles native and his first in many years, dating back to 2018.
An even deal was made between Yifrach and his heads-up opponent, Thomas Boivin, part way through their heads-up match that saw ebbs and flows for both players. Boivin entered the day as an overwhelming chip leader and carried that momentum into the heads-up battle. However, Yifrach battled back and took the lead on multiple occasions. In their first all-in encounter, it was Boivin in the lead with his pocket tens, but Yifrach found a flush on the turn with a suited ace to seal the deal.
