Mathias Siljander opened to 25,000 from middle position, and Roope Tarmi defended the big blind.

On the AJJ flop, Tarmi check-called a bet of 44,000 from Siljander.

The same pattern followed on the 8 turn, this time in respect of a bet of 80,000 from Siljander.

The 6 river was checked through, and Siljander mucked when Tarmi tabled A7 for two pair, aces and jacks.

Sormunen Finds Huge River Hero Call to Bust Helin

Level 16 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A pot of around 200,000 had developed on a completed board of 9438K, in a hand between Pasi Sormunen under the gun and Joonas Helin in the next seat.

Sormunen slid out a blocker bet of 25,000, and went into the tank when Helin jammed for 254,000. After around two minutes, Sormunen suddenly made the call.

Helin tabled AQ for ace-high, and Sormunen thumped the table in celebration after he took the pot with 85 for third pair eights.
