Speaking of winners, Jeremy Gaubert took down the RGPS Grand Prix New Orleans, Josh Arieh and Nick Palma both won online bracelets, and Bridget Johnson was victorious in the RPT Tri-State Poker Championship.

Finally, Chad reveals another code word for this year's NAPT Gold Pass giveaway valued at $10,000, and goes one-on-one with Chris Bilinsky, a Gold Pass winner who's already booked his ticket to Las Vegas. In the next hand, there was an open before Roope Tarmi three-bet jammed from the cutoff for 33,000. Henrik Fjelstad was in the small blind, and he cold-four bet jammed for around 44,000, forcing out the opener.

Tarmi had Fjelstad dominated, but the queen was in the window on the Q♣6♣5♥ flop, and the position was not altered by the 3♠ turn or 10♥ river.

Sormunen Surprised to Take Three-Bet Pot

Pasi Sormunen opened to 5,000 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet to 15,000 from Roope Tarmi on the button. Action folded back to Sormunen, who called.

On the K♥6♦6♣ flop, Sormunen checked, and Tarmi fired out a bet of 7,500. Sormunen responded with a raise to 18,000, and after a bit of thought, Tarmi three-bet to 28,500.

Sormunen thought it through for a bit, and said "I have a feeling I'm screwed but I can't fold this", as he moved all in with the covering stack.

To Sormunen's surprise and delight, Tarmi snap-folded.

A pot of 40,000 had developed by the river, in a hand between Jon Vallinas Santos and Jack Markus, with the board reading 10♦9♦9♣7♠6♠.

Vallinas Santos checked, and Markus fired out a bet of 16,000. Vallinas Santos responded with a jam to 137,500, and after around 90 seconds in the tank, Markus made the call.

Vallinas Santos tabled 10♠10♥ for the flopped full house, and Markus struggled to believe his 8♣8♥ for the rivered one-card ten-high straight was beat.

Gordo Finds Tough River Call

A pot of around 49,000 had brewed by the turn on a board of J♦7♣4♠A♣, in a hand between Mikael Haapaniemi in the hijack and Guillermo Gordo on the button.

The turn was checked to the J♠ river, which paired the board. Haapaniemi jammed with the covering stack, and Gordo, who had around 52,000 behind, went into the tank.

After around 90 seconds, Gordo made the call, and his K♥K♣ for two pair, kings and jacks, was good versus Haapaniemi's 10♠9♠.

Mizrachi Family Feud as Paul Busts Michael

Michael Mizrachi After Busting to Paul Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi opened to 3,000 under the gun, and his son, Paul Mizrachi, defended the big blind.

The K♥Q♦4♠ flop was checked to the 8♠ turn, where Paul led out with a bet of 3,500. Michael responded with his thumbs-up raising single made famous at this year's WSOP, and raised to 9,500. Paul made the call.

The J♦ river completed the board, and Paul snap check-called an all-in from Michael of 46,500.

Michael tabled J♣10♣ for a pair of jacks, and Paul had the goods with K♠Q♠ for top two pair.

The table loved the confrontation, and Paul gave Michael a send-off in song as the World Champion departed the table.

Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle, with Jussi Mattila all-in for around 40,000 and at risk against Benny Hagberg.
