Sergei Nesterenko: AKJ5 All in
Robert Cowen: AKQ9

Both held ace-king and were looking for some help from their kickers. Nothing came from the 478 flop or the 7 turn, but the Q river paired Cowen, which ended Nesterenko's run in ninth.

"Dony" Picks Off Pham's Bluff

Level 16 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

"Dony" raised KQ76 to 425,000 from early position and Cong Pham called in the big blind with 10875.

Both flopped a straight draw on 893 and Pham check-called a bet of 525,000 from "Dony" to see the 2 fall on the turn, where both checked.

A Q fell on the river and Pham led out for 1,250,000 as a bluff, which "Dony" eventually picked off with his queen.

Guerra Scoops Aces vs Aces

Level 16 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Martin Dam limped in from middle position and Lautaro Guerra made it 675,000 from the hijack. Ben Lamb called in the big blind, then Dam three-bet the pot to 2,775,000. Guerra then moved all in for 2,425,000, and Lamb folded his QJ108.

Lautaro Guerra: AAK5 All in
Martin Dam: AA76

The flop of 592 gave both players a path to victory, but it was Guerra who seemed most likely to double as the 5 turn gave him trips. Dam could scoop it with an eight, but the K river boated up Guerra.

Pham Considers Bluffing the River

Level 16 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

"Dony" raised under the gun to 525,000 with AA93 and Cong Pham called on the button with KQJ9.

The flop of JA5 gave "Dony" top set and he continued for 525,000, which Pham called to the Q turn. "Dony" checked it over and Pham bet 1,400,000, and "Dony" stuck around.

An 8 hit the river and again it was checked to Pham, who thought for a little but elected to check it back, losing the pot to the top set of "Dony".

Shortly after, Robert Cowen raised AAQ9 from under the gun to 450,000 and Samuli Sipila called on the button with J976.
