Level 17
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
"Dony" opened to 600,000 from the cutoff and Ben Lamb three-bet to 1,900,000 from the big blind, leaving 400,000 behind. "Dony" then shoved, and Lamb called.
Ben Lamb: K♦K♣Q♠Q♣
"Dony": A♠10♦10♣9♠
Lamb needed his overpair to hold, but didn't get off to the best start as the 4♥J♦10♥ flop gave "Dony" middle set. There were outs for Lamb as any ace, king, queen, or nine would do the trick, but the 8♣ turn wasn't one of them. The 3♥ river was also a brick, and Lamb headed to the payout desk in eighth.
