Steinbrenner Picks Off Barakat's Bluff
Level 22
: Blinds 70,000/140,000, 140,000 ante
Justin Steinbrenner raised to 490,000 in the cutoff and Youness Barakat defended from the big blind.
Barakat and Steinbrenner checked a runout of 9♠4♠8♦4♣J♣ all the way to the river before Barakat fired for 900,000.
Steinbrenner called and Barakat showed a bluff with 8♥7♠6♣5♥. Steinbrenner flipped over A♦K♥9♣7♣ or just a pair of nines, and he was awarded the pot.
