Steinbrenner Takes Huge Chip Lead With a Boat

Nino Pansier raised the button to 1,200,000 and Justin Steinbrenner called from the big blind.

Steinbrenner started with a check on the J♦10♦K♠ flop, and Pansier fired for 875,000. Steinbrenner elected to call.

A K♥ came on the turn and Steinbrenner checked for a second time. Pansier fired a second barrel of 1,900,000, and Steinbrenner called.

A final check came from Steinbrenner on the 7♣ river and Pansier used a few time banks before betting pot for 8,350,000. Steinbrenner snap-called.

Pansier showed a Broadway straight with A♠Q♣7♠2♥, but was second best to the boat of Steinbrenner holding 10♥10♣9♥8♥.
