Sergienko Puts Bogdanov in a Tough Spot
Anton Sergienko came in for a raise to 2,500 from the cutoff, with Aleksandr Chernikov calling on the button, Yulian Bogdanov calling out of the small blind, and Parahat Nurmuhammedov defending from the big blind.
When it got to Sergienko on the 9♣3♣5♠ flop, he bet 3,500. Chernikov and Bogdanov called, but Nurmuhammedov folded.
Bogdanov checked for a second time on the Q♥ turn, and Sergienko placed out a second barrel of 8,000. Chernikov instantly called, while Bogdanov chose to check-raise to 35,000. Sergienko and Chernikov continued with a call.
The 5♣ completed the board and Bogdanov checked. Sergienko bet 75,000, causing Chernikov to fold. Bogdanov, however, instantly put out a bunch of time banks and went deep into the tank.
After close to two minutes of thinking, Bogdanov decided to fold, and surrendered the pot to Sergienko.
