Kolev knuckled it over to Shcherbakov, and Shcherbakov bet 135,000. Kolev called, and a 7♥ landed on the turn, which both players checked.
A 2♦ came on the river to bring four diamonds on the board. Kolev checked for the last time, and Shcherbakov gathered together a bet of 575,000.
Kolev went into the tank, using up a few of time banks, all the while occasionally glancing over at Shcherbakov. After about two minutes, Kolev made the call.
Shcherbakov tabled a bluff with A♣9♣, and Kolev flipped over 6♣6♠ for just a pair of sixes.
The table was stunned to silence after seeing the call Kolev had made, and even poker Hall of Famer Patrik Antonius acknowledged Kolev's hero call with a nod of the head.
