Mooney Mucks What Should Have Been a Chop Pot
Level 24
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Ottomar Ladva raised with A♠K♣ under the gun to 400,000 and only Geoffrey Mooney called holding A♦J♦ in the hijack.
Both players checked the way down on the 9♠3♣8♥8♦9♦ board, and Ladva flipped over his two pair with an ace-kicker.
Mooney held the same hand and just had to turn his cards over to chop the pot, however, he said to Ladva, "It's good," and mistakenly tossed his hand into the muck.
