Adrian State, who bubbled last night's Day 1a, checked from the big blind with the board showing 7♣4♠8♣K♦, and Joni Jouhkimainen fired out for 240,000 from the cutoff. State made the call.
State checked again after seeing the Q♣ arrive on the river. Jouhkimainen bet 555,000, and State quickly called.
Jouhkimainen tabled a rivered flush with 6♣4♣, which was good as State mucked.
Eyal Eshkar made it 60,000 to go from early position and only Quan Zhou called from the small blind.
Zhou knuckled it over to Eshkar on the Q♥2♠8♣ flop, and Eshkar fired out for 60,000. Zhou continued with a call.
The 8♠ turn checked through as did the 9♦ river. Zhou flipped over A♠Q♦ for a pair of queens, and Eshkar mucked his hand.
Daniel Rezaei raised to 60,000 under the gun and Joni Jouhkimainen was the only caller from the cutoff.
Rezaei chose to check-call a bet of 40,000 from Jouhkimainen on the 9♥2♦3♣ flop.
The J♣ fell on the turn and Rezaei check-called another bet from Jouhkimainen, this time for 200,000.
Rezaei checked for the last time on the 10♦ river, and Jouhkimainen jammed, covering Rezaei.
With 930,000 left in his stack, Rezaei burned through a few of his time banks before deciding to fold, and give up the pot to Jouhkimainen.

After some raising back and forth preflop, Robert Heidorn's stack of around 700,000 found its way into the middle and Aren Bezhanyan was the player attempting to bust him.

Heidorn needed his pocket sevens to hold up if he was to stand any chance of making it through to Day 2 and the money.
Heidorn remained ahead through the K♦8♠2♠ flop and 3♠ turn, although Bezhanyan picked up a flush draw. The Q♣ dropped on the river to give Bezhanyan a pair of queens, and all of Heidorn's chips were given to Bezhanyan.
Joni Jouhkimainen raised to 85,000 from the cutoff, with Adrian State calling from the small blind and Mehdi Chaoui calling from the big blind.
State led out for 75,000 on the 8♠10♣2♣ flop, which was called by Chaoui and Jouhkimainen.
A 6♦ on the turn caused State to check. Chaoui bet 225,000 and only Jouhkimainen called.
The 6♥ fell on the river and Chaoui checked with 640,000 in his stack. Jouhkimainen slid out two towers of T-25,000 chips, putting Chaoui all in. Chaoui tossed his cards away and Jouhkimainen scooped in the pot.
Mikita Badziakouski completed from the small blind and Matthias Lipp checked his option in the big blind.
Badziakouski check-called a bet of 50,000 by Lipp on the K♣5♠10♠ flop.
The K♦ on the turn checked through, as did the 7♦ to complete the board. Badziakouski revealed ace-high with A♣6♣ and lost the pot to Lipp's 10♦2♠ for a pair of tens.
