Daniel Rezaei raised to 160,000 from the cutoff, and Matthias Lipp three-bet to 640,000 from the small blind. Rezaei came back with a four-bet to 1,450,000, which got Lipp to fold.
At the other table, Daniil Kiselev raised to 160,000 from the hijack, with Anze Smajd calling from the small blind and Italo Modena defending from the big blind.
All three checked the 3♠9♠Q♦ flop to see the 7♠ on the turn. Smajd led out for 350,000, and only Modena continued with a call.
Smajd fired another 300,000 on the 10♣ river, and after a few moments of thought, Modena raised to 925,000. Smajd used a time bank before folding, and Modena picked up the pot.
