Lipp Wins the Last Hand Before Break

Matthias Lipp raised to 400,000 from the cutoff, and Manuel Fritz defended from the big blind.

Fritz went for a check-call on the Q♦K♥8♥ flop when Lipp put out a bet of 350,000.

The Q♠ turn was checked through, and the 4♦ completed the board. Fritz checked for the last time, and Lipp bet 900,000. Fritz took some time to think it over before deciding to call with 10♠8♠ for a pair of eights.

Lipp showed the best hand, holding K♣9♣ for a pair of kings to win the pot and send Fritz to the bottom of the counts.
