Borovkov Turns a Full House

Alexey Borovkov raised to 14,000 from middle position, and Thomas Alfred Mayer called on the button. The blinds folded.

The flop came 9♣9♠3♠, and Mayer called a bet of 15,000 from Borovkov. The Q♥ hit the turn, and both players checked.

Borovkov bet 36,000 on the 7♦ river, and Mayer quickly called. Borovkov tabled Q♦Q♠ for a full house, to take the pot.

Mikita Badziakouski who was in the big blind said "I folded a nine" which Borovkov responded with a smile.
