Badziakouski on the Right End of a Cooler
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
On the last hand before the break, Mikita Badziakouski raised to 40,000 from under the gun, and the action folded all the way around to Zorlu Er in the big blind. With the other players having already left the table, Er went for the most aggressive option and three-bet to 150,000.
Badziakouski four-bet, and Er quickly ripped it in. Badziakouski called for his stack of 786,000, putting himself at risk and creating the biggest pot of the tournament.
Mikita Badziakouski: A♠A♥
Zorlu Er: Q♠Q♦
Badziakouski had found the perfect spot with the preflop nuts and just had to dodge a queen to double into the chip lead.
No sweat came for Badziakouski on the 9♣J♥2♠2♣K♥ runout, and he doubled to 1,600,000, while Er was left with 400,000.
