Moss Collects From Cheng

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

Yet another huge pot early on, this time shipped to the UK's Matthew Moss.

Xia Qing Ji opened the hijack to 600 and Tony Cheng just called from the cutoff. Moss looked up on the button before three-betting to 2,600, which got a fold from Ji and a call from Cheng.

The dealer laid a {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and Cheng checked. Moss continued for 2,100, and after Cheng called the {7-Spades} landed on the river. Check check.

The {6-Clubs} fell on the river and when Cheng checked again Moss resumed his aggression for 6,800. Cheng now raised it up to 27,000, which gave Moss food for thought. He'd eventually call though, and when Cheng showed his {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} Moss tabled {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for the winner.
